Ernest Cannon received his law degree at the University of Texas in 1969. Later that same year, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals admitted him to the Texas State Bar. Cannon has practiced law ever since, accumulating a wealth of experience and on-the-job training that few of his colleagues can match. He has maintained his Stephenville law office as his base of operations for many years. Cannon made the Texas and Houston Super Lawyers Top 100 lists in 2003 and 2005. The organization has recognized Cannon’s achievements from 2005 through 2014, and again from 2017 through 2022.
